What is RBS Greenhouse?

It is an intensive 3-week program in January and February 2024, designed to equip driven and motivated high-school students for undergraduate studies in English. The program allows you to gain invaluable insights into the academic offerings at RBS and helps you make a well-informed decision regarding your higher education path. Throughout the program, you’ll immerse yourself in our hands-on, industry-focused approach, guided by numerous experts and industry leaders. You will also have the chance to compete for valuable prizes.

About the program

During the course of two weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to partake in a series of lectures provided by RBS and engage in workshops facilitated by our partner companies. You have the flexibility to opt for either the Bachelor of Business Administration track or the Bachelor of Computer Science & Organizational Technologies (Bachelor of IT) track. It’s worth noting that the preparation session and activities in Week 3 remain the same for both tracks.

Following the preparation session, you will collaborate with a randomly selected team to tackle a real-world business challenge provided by partnering companies. Throughout this process, you’ll receive guidance from mentors – our very own students. You can select from a range of challenges designed to simulate authentic scenarios. The program concludes with a pitching session where the winner is announced.

Ambitious and motivated students from 10th to 12th grade from all over Latvia are invited to participate. The program will be entirely in English; thus, it is important to be able to communicate in English. To become a participant of the program, you must submit a:

  • Motivational letter in English not exceeding 350 words, answering the question, “Why do you want to participate in the RBS Greenhouse program?”
  • Grade transcript from the first semester (the latest available). 

Please take into account that the number of seats is limited, therefore think carefully about your motivational letter. If you have any questions about the application process, feel free to contact Madara via madara.murmane@rbs.lv.

Established in 1991 in cooperation with the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA, and the University of Ottawa, Canada, Riga Business School (RBS) is a management–education institution within Riga Technical University (RTU).

Riga Business School offers MBA programs in English, granting its graduates an internationally recognized Masters of Business Administration degree. Since 2012, Riga Business School has been offering a Bachelor of Management in International Business program in collaboration with BI Norwegian Business School and University at Buffalo, the USA. There are two bachelor programs available in RBS: Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Computer Science & Organizational Technologies (Bachelor of IT Leadership).
